GRADE 3 OPEN LEFT FEMORAL FRACTURE
The break was treated with an external fixater for a short time and then with a femoral nail fig 2.0. This nail lasted just under three months before it broke fig 2.1 for no apparent reason. On the 01/12/04 I underwent an operation to replace the broken nail. A new nail was inserted of a more substantial gauge fig 2.2 2.3.
