CRUSHED CALCANIUM
The right leg suffered in two areas, A smashed knee that was re built. And a crushed calcanium fig 3.0 / 3.1 this was treated conservatively and on the advise of miss Allen foot specialist at the Leicester general hospital It will be left for 2 years and then it will be re visited with a view to taking a peace of hip bone to put into the foot. On 08/09/05 two years after the accident i had a discussion with miss Allen who informed me that if she were to operate I would be in plaster for three months and I would not recover from the surgery for at least a year. Miss Allen also said that even at the end of this time she could not be sure I would be any better than I am now. I was told that inevitably i would have to have surgery in the future but recommended that I wait until the Arthritis reduces my mobility enough for me to benefit from surgery. I have got limited movement in the foot and suffer pain in the joint continually
